Photographing a wedding is a delightful challenge that starts long before the bride slips her slender feet into her stylish, white wedding shoes for the first time. Our wedding coverage starts with a pre-wedding interview between Kallisti photographers (there are two of them, to make sure nothing is missed) and the soon-to-be bride and groom. This is where you tell us what you like and what you don’t like. We’ll bring our expertise and ideas to the table with sample photographs and suggestions for groupings, formal and candid photographs.
At Kallisti Photography in Campbell River we love to be inspired by the intensity of emotion found at most weddings. There is so much going on that needs to be captured in order to preserve a record of the whole event. We seize every opportunity to photograph an unguarded moment, a nuance, an interaction that perfectly preserves that moment in time forever. That's why we always like to include lots of candid wedding photographs along with the traditional formal wedding portraits.
Unless otherwise requested, your wedding will be shot in digital format. This allows the Kallisti photographers to deliver a CD with pre-sized images so you can share your photos with everyone, no matter how far away they are. In fact we can even e-mail them to you on your honeymoon.
For your formal portraits, digital retouching is available so your wedding pictures can look just like you imagined, usually even better! When you have your wedding photographs taken by Kallisti Photography there are no surprises, except for pleasant ones.
